Axis Hotel - Kortenberg

My stay at Axis Hotel was very good for a short visit. I liked this small hotel; it has an exceptionally nice location and well-furnished rooms. - the property is close enough to CDG Airport, Belgium, and restaurants. - It is also conveniently located near the bus stop for Leuven Evert.

Welcoming staff, perfectservices, including good choice of delicious delicacies. Soft bed, nice bathroom and central heating, a private safe, and pay television in the room. A view of garden from my window...

Modern room and staff is always nice.

There is a huge variety of excellent food for breakfast. As for me, the location is particularly good and unbeatable, to the nearest restaurant.

The double room was a good size with a comfortable bed and located in an unbeatable central location.

The rooms are not large, but everything is available and in very good condition. The bathroom seems to be completely renovated. An absolute recommendation for the Brussels conurbation.

By Belgian standards, breakfast is only moderate and coffee is poor. But there is a kettle and coffee in the room.

This place is just charming and small, but in a good way. We had an amazing room that even had a tub - super extra cozy! the service was on point, no complaints there. 💯

The room was clean and well maintained. the bathroom is lovely. - the double bed was comfortable. - Having an electric kettle, fridge, and glassware was very handy. - Everything met all my requests. - I had a very good stay for a short visit.

I had an early departure so that I can't say much more about the hotel but my general comment is : very good

We recently stayed at this luxurious hotel and were thoroughly impressed with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly and helpful staff who made us feel right at home. The room was beautifully furnished and impeccably clean, with all the amenities we could ask for. We particularly loved the comfortable bed and the excellent water pressure in the shower.

In conclusion, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. With its convenient location near the airport and excellent services, it truly exceeded our expectations.

The hotel was away from the city but right next to the road, therefore, the noise on that side of the hotel was more than you want with the windows open. Windows closed, it was quiet and the outside traffic was hardly noticeable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and comfortable. The bathrooms were well lit and ample in size. The price was very good compared to what you get with other places. We did not pay extra for the breakfast so I cannot comment about breakfast or other meals.

No suitable locations within walking distance for dining. The sink is a little on the small side but acceptable for one person at a time. There is very limited space to put makeup, toothpaste, soap, ...etc near the sink.

Great breakfast and proximity to BRU (Airport) were the easons we chose Axis. Price seems too high as compared to Casteau Resort /Best Western which charges less and provides a free public no-fee computer; a no-cost to guests water dispenser; wonderful buffet breakfast included in room price and a large Reception area where one can talk to other guests. The staff was polite and helpful but Axis is very sterile compared to Casteau Resort. For some odd reason, there is no place for a brochure for Best Westerb Casteau Resort in the alphabetical display of other Best Westerns in Belgium near the front door of Axis. It is hard to beat the value of Casteau Resort near SHAPE where conferences/meetings require multiple night stays.

This was the second year we stayed one night to be close to BRU for a transatlantic flight back to USA so there were no surprises. We think that the expensive room should include a teabag or instant coffee packet per guest should be gratis. We also think a computer should be available for guests at no charge even if use time is only 30 mins. per day. The weak exchange rate of US $ vs Euro is part of the problem. I would recommend this hotel to someone who needs to fly out of BRU the next morning but at same time would mention the absence of amenities I have described above which exist at Casteau Resort.
